What is an eBook?
January 5, 2007 on 9:48 am | In Main |An eBook or Electronic book is a digital equivilent of a printed book. Not to be confused with a particular format but rather an electronic version of a paper book. Some Books are both printed and electronic others are only printed and a few are only available as an eBook. Many ebook publishers provide readers for their own brand or format of eBook. Ebooks are ideal for large volumes that may need to be searched quickly to find specific information. Specific pages can be printed for easy reference. Before deciding whether or not an ebook version is right for you ask youself a few questions. For example will I want to print the entire book? If so consider buying a printed book. Ebooks will never completely replace printed books but for certain topics or uses they are an excellent alternative.

Add Video To Your Ebook
By: Kevin Luckett, Mon Jan 8th, 2007
Hello, my name is Kevin Luckett. I am a software programmer of 11 years. I have worked on many projects that included video. One day I purchased an e-book with great content. Although the book was well done, it was missing something.
That night while looking at youtube videos, it hit me like a brick. The e-book was missing a video presentation. I am not talking about putting the whole book in a video. I mean putting a 2 minute video together telling a little about your e-book then thanking your customer. When they open your e-book the a small window on the right hand side of your e-book. They go over and click start and your 2 minute video starts to play. If they want, the can pause and start it at anytime. How cool is that. After viewing the video they can now read the rest of your wonderful e-book content.
